Strictly Broadband goes gay
![]() The site is available now in beta-test form with a handful of movies available, and will be fully operational during November with a wider selection of movies. The service is based on Go Content, the software that drives Strictly Broadband as well as other VoD sites, and will employ the same approach and business model that has driven Strictly Broadband to success in the past 18 months. While the beta test site provides a small selection of 14 movies, the service is targeted to provide at least 100 titles by the end of the year. As with Strictly Broadband, new titles will be added daily once fully launched. Jerry Barnett, Managing Director: "We entered the adult VoD market in 2005 with the mission to raise quality, provide a better user experience, and provide British studios with a better outlet for their movies. This approach has proven successful. It seem natural to bring the same approach to gay VoD. We make the same commitments: to our customers that we will provide a trusted, high-quality service, and to our studios that we will sell their content in the best possible streaming quality, at premium prices, and avoiding pay-per-minute billing. We expect that our success in the straight market can be replicated in the gay market, as we aim to yet again raise the quality bar and exceed customer expectations." |
