Strictly Broadband to support new video players Strictly Broadband, Europe's leading provider of adult movies via the Internet, announces support for the video iPod and Sony PSP handheld devices. To date, Strictly Broadband have provided hundreds of high quality streaming movies for rental and viewing on a PC with a broadband connection. The new pilot service will provide full-length movies for download via the Internet, in suitable formats for viewing on the Sony PSP and Apple's new video iPod. The new videos will be added to the site during June 2006, and launched along with a competition for users to win a video iPod and a Sony PSP. Jerry Barnett, Managing Director of Strictly Broadband: "Our streaming movie service is extremely popular with British porn buyers and has set a new level of quality for online adult video. The service was originally built to provide an online alternative to watching DVDs, and we've succeeded in that. Over the past few years the popularity of handheld games consoles and music players has increased enormously. Now that some of these devices come with small but high quality colour screens, we've decided that the time is right to offer the same movies in different formats. We will still only sell full-length high-quality movies rather than just clips, and ensure that the great service we provide to broadband Internet users can now be shared by people with video iPods and PSPs." About Strictly Broadband: Launched in early-2005, Strictly Broadband is Europe's leading Internet aggregator of adult VoD (video on demand) movies. It provides a white-label service to organisations that wish to create their own VoD sites at minimal cost. With its focus on UK and European titles, Strictly Broadband fills a key niche in the fast-growing VoD market. The site can be viewed at www.strictlybroadband.com |
